Drive south through Ifrane and the famous cedar forest of Azrou, with time to see the resident Barbary macaques. Continue via Midelt, Errachidia and the Ziz Valley to Merzouga for a relaxed hotel evening.
Explore the Merzouga area, visiting Khamlia for Gnawa music and hospitality tea, then Rissani and its traditional market. Rest in Merzouga before a sunset camel trek to a desert camp for dinner and drumming beneath the stars.
Rise for sunrise, then leave the desert through Touroug and Tinjdad palms. Walk among the immense Todra Gorge walls before continuing to the Dadès Valley and its striking rock formations.
Travel the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through Rose Valley, Skoura and Ouarzazate. Visit Ait Ben Haddou before crossing the High Atlas via Tizi n Tichka to Marrakech.
